After spending many months at home we decided to take off on a road trip to enjoy our very own NSW backyard. What a great backyard it has turned out to be. First stop Seal Rocks village which stunned us with its beauty.

A mere three and a bit hours drive from Sydney you can enjoy turquoise clear waters so still the stand up paddlers were reflected in the ocean. Surfer dudes told us that this is also a great surf beach. This is a paradise for snorkellers  as the Marine Life is rich in diversity and includes sighting of turtles, sting rays, wobbegong sharks and even seals.

The glistening white beach is protected by the crescent shaped bay and we found unique sea shells on our sandy walk but left them for other to admire. Best of all it is a sleepy hamlet with one shop selling essential summer thongs, suntan lotion and grocery provisions as well as being the local post office. You can’t get more laid laid Aussie than this.     Keep an eye out for our next stop.
