We cross over the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge on our way to the beautiful North Shore. First stop is Milsons Point, which offers arguably the best vantage point in Sydney for spectacular views of the famous harbour and city skyline.
Balmoral Beach
Travel through the exclusive and trendy suburbs of Neutral Bay and Mosman before making our way down to Balmoral Beach. We love to stop here for a quick coffee break at one of our favourite local cafes and take in the tranquil scenery of lovely Balmoral.
Georges Head
Then we wind our way through the suburbs to a wonderful lookout at Georges Head. This area was a Harbour Fortification until 1979 when it became part of our extensive Sydney Harbour National Park. You will find that in Sydney… it’s all about the views. The view from here is marvellous!
Manly Beach
From here we head further north over the Spit Bridge, taking in the areas of Middle Harbour and Seaforth before we arrive at Manly Beach. We will have time to appreciate this beautiful beach that has contributed to Manly’s reputation as a popular waterfront suburb. We give you time to take a walk along The Corso, a pedestrian mall which runs between the harbour and the ocean. Or you can stop for a snack at one of the many quaint beachfront cafes.
North Head
No visit to the North is complete without a drive to North Head, which used to house Sydney’s Quarantine Station. Here you will appreciate the size of Sydney Harbour and also the vastness of the Pacific Ocean.
Tour Ends
Sadly it’s time to head back into the city. If we didn’t manage a beer stop in Manly then a short pub visit at one of the many historic pubs in The Rocks area is a grand way to finish the tour, before being dropped back at your hotel! Alternatively you may wish to catch the famous Manly ferry back into Circular Quay in the city. You just let us know and we will be able to adjust the plans accordingly.
